I'm Mike, I am a Reform Jew and father of two adult children, I work for the government and have since I was 18.
I have a sense of humor...well it was here yesterday! I believe I am kind hearted and giving, I am definitely warm and firmly believe cold mornings were made for cuddle time. I need someone who understands loving is not a just a physical act and it includes compassion, friendship, laughter and trust. Friendship, laughter and being goofy with each other is what keeps a relationship warm. Ideal relationships don't exist; when you have two people you get three opinions, the best you can hope for is an understanding, “give and take.”
I take life as it's dished out and don't blame the world when things don't go my way. I'm romantic, I write poetry about whatever or whom ever truly inspires me. I'm afraid of spiders, but I'll still gallantly slay them for you.
I still have the heart of a child and am still excited about learning, growing and experiencing life. I'm a bit on the quiet side, a better “do'er than talker.” I am a great listener and am fantastic at giving advice, but only if you need it.
My favorite quote: "Some men see things as they are and ask, "Why?" I dare dream of thing that never were and ask, "Why not?"

I'm dancing with you in a dimly lit hall; the other party goers have left. The sounds of fireworks and the blowing of horn can be heard from the streets below. You smile at me when my hands pass over yours and I pull you into me. Staring nose to nose, we step in time to the music. The room spins and we laugh in each others' arms and until a moment overcomes us, our eyes lock and our mouths water. The music slowly fades and all I can hear is the quickening beat of my heart. I lean in, my lips meet yours, you and I feel your heart beat beneath my fingertips. Your arms wrapped tightly around me, drink each other deeply and we sway to the music of us.
