The relationships I have forged among my co-workers and close brothers and sisters in the Lord are such that they all have no problem with us all expressing our admiration and love for one another, which is especially rare among office co-workers. Many would say that I have a very strong and powerful personality as a leader, but at the same time a Christ-like gentleness that tempers the strength of my inner man.

I always seek to extend invitations for others to work with me to join our respective worlds into a mixed blend of community and lovingkindness; kindred spirits rooted in Christ as our example in all of life. In other words, I simply love people, and have a deep-seated desire to help others to grow closer to the fullness of the stature of Christ in their lives through discipleship and daily growth. Knowing when to be serious and when to just listen to others is a skill I've learned to sharpen with time and experience. I can also be very laid back in a responsible sort of way, but also a fighter when called to do battle for others.

I fought hard for my wife's life in the CICU ward of a local hospital for almost two months before she passed away. One of the best nurses in the unit came up to me and said she wished all families had advocates like me to fight for their loved ones. That experience would test the metal of anyone, and it is to the praise of the Lord who gave to me the strength to see it through.

Additionally, I'm the type of man who dares to ask the Lord for His thoughts and His ways, even though He said in His written word that they are above ours as the heavens are above the earth. Why? Well, mainly because nowhere in the biblical context of the key verse does it say that we dare not ask for His thoughts and His ways. With boldness I ask from the Lord what I believe we all should be asking of Him. This is part of what makes us better for our respective spouses and for each other in a unified body of believers. What I hate is human pride, which is also what the Lord hates most in us. I want to be all that pleases Him, that it may be a sweet savor unto His Throne.
