An Ideal First Date Would Be
A rooftop bar at 230 Fifth Avenue (corner of 27th Street); Friday or Sunday evening when it's not overly crowded; an ordinary (or better) looking woman sitting opposite me; she's single, never married, in her late 20s or 30s; we tell each other a bit about ourselves and, at one point, she looks intently me and says, "You know, you're as screwed up as I'm." "Yep, " I reply, "we've found each other." "To our meeting" and our glasses clink.
I've Always Wanted To Try
To play "I'm 5 and you're 12" type of a game. I'd be 5 years old, I don't know big words, and I'm a plain and simplistic pre-schoolder. You, on the other hand, are a sophisticated 12-year old in the fifth grade who has knows how to read and write, has studied "geography" (a big word), and is very smart. The point of the game is a contest as to who has more independent thinking, on the assumption that schooling kills independent thought. This game is far from boring, as no topic is off limits and the pre-schooler gets to ask all kinds of questions which a 12-year may have a difficult time answering. The hard part is not to step out of character.
